Oil painting on canvas by Sidney Laurence is a view of Mount McKinley, also called Denali, near Anchorage, Alaska. The painting, which is in a gold-colored frame, dates from around 1923. A rectangular metal plaque attached to the bottom edge of the frame reads "MOUNTY MCKINLEY, ALASKA / BY SYDNEY LAURENCE / PRESENTED BY THE CITY OF ANCHORAGE / TO PRESIDENT AND MRS. WARREN G. HARDING / JULY 13, 1923."
